Easter break packets were administered today. There are short-response questions attached which mirror the ELA state test. Please have your child do this on his/her own, but I encourage you to check that it was done to his or her best ability.

What you need to know for your science chapter 3 test on Monday.

·         Where do plants get their energy from?

·         Parts of an ecosystem

·         Which animals live in which ecosystems?

·         The differences between a tropical forest and desert.

·         Which trees are in which ecosystems.

·         Freshwater/saltwater which animals live in which.

·         Tundras and why they have few trees

·         How do plants help in an animal’s habitat.

·         How do coastal redwood trees depend on non living parts of an ecosystem?

Just a friendly reminder that this Thursday March 19, 2015 is parent/teacher conferences. There will be a 12:00pm dismissal.

I plan on giving the class a math test on lessons 16, 17, and 18 sometime next week, Monday or Tuesday (depending when lesson 18 gets finished). I will let you know the exact day by the end of the week. In the meantime, the students can begin preparing for it.
